For years, we have provided approximate pricing on all of the entryways we have pictured on our web site, but 2021 and 2022 have seen wild changes in costs for lumber, hardware, crating materials, freight, screens, and glass. So much so, that we were forced to delete prices on our Breeze Door Project Pages. With over 200 Custom Entryway Project Pages, we have decided leave those prices with the knowledge that they reflect costs at the time the project was actually built.
Pricing is affected by just about every aspect of a project:
- Wood species
- Door size
- Configuration
- Glass
- Features
- Prehanging
- Hardware
- Finish Application
- Delivery
- Crating and Shipping
- Amendments
We utilize a “live” pricing computer program to generate quotes. This program is updated regularly based on our material costs and it accounts for labor regarding the specific features that the customer chooses. It ensures that we can provide the lowest and most accurate quote at the time it is requested. Our quotes are valid for 30 days. So even if costs rise unexpectedly, we’ve got you covered. Moreover, once a project is ordered, even if it is months away from completion, we will not increase your price, regardless of market changes in the cost of materials. We may take a hit, but a deal is a deal. Jacking up charges midway through a project is simply unfair to our customers!
Still, we believe you should at least have some idea of pricing before you contact us. So we have resumed adding price details to the Breeze Project Pages with the date of that pricing.
Eventually, we will get everything current. For now, we are placing a handful of projects below with current pricing. Simply click on a photograph and you will be taken to its Project Page with cost breakdown.
The Breeze is fundamentally a 2-panel door with the upper panel hinged to allow a retractable screen to be available. By choosing certain options, you can change the door’s appearance to suit your home. Because there are so many options, each Breeze door is custom made for the individual customer.
Is a Breeze more expensive than a typical door? Of course. It’s like comparing a Rolls Royce to a Hyundai.
