Getting Started
We are not a large factory. We do not offer a handful of designs in a few wood species and pump them out of an assembly line. We are a second-generation custom door shop that has created more than a thousand unique entryways since 1979. We’ve built doors for small businesses, mansions, cottages, churches, tract homes, farm houses, bungalows, beach houses, tiny homes, and more. We’ve even built doors that are rather common in design, but the customer simply wanted it made better. Our construction techniques are unsurpassed.
You may know exactly what you want without even looking at our web site. Some customers have simply sent us a sketch or a photo from a magazine and their specifications. We’ll fit the design you have chosen to your opening size and provide a quote.
At the other end of the spectrum, you may only have a feeling or an image that you want to convey. We are happy to participate in that longer conversation. We can advise on materials, techniques, hardware, glass, and finishes to achieve your goals. We’ll simply need to know your size specifications in order to provide the optimal proportions for the future design.
Measurements can be approximate for the purposes of getting a quote. However, precise measurements are required for actual construction. Your installer can assist you in getting precise measurements.
Most customers simply browse through the galleries, looking at those entryways we have created for other clients. Every custom entryway or Breeze door that you see on our web site was designed and built specifically for an individual client. Each entryway has an ID# such as D138 or B24. We show all of these different entryways so that you can see our capabilities and cost comparisons. By clicking on any door in a gallery, you can see that project’s details and pricing. We can adapt any of these projects to fit into your specifications.
In this case, you need only provide the ID#, your specifications, and any changes you would like to make.
Customers wanting Breeze doors may wish to create their own design from the options available. In this case you may list those features for a more detailed starting point.
Once you have these bits of information, click on “Contact Us” on the main menu. There you will find our phone numbers, e-mail addresses, physical location, and postal address. Never hesitate to contact us directly with your questions. We are “small-town” friendly and take pride in solving issues that may develop. (970) 385-9066 or Toll Free (877) 371-8894
Developing your Door or Entryway Design
Once you have contacted us for a quote, we will endeavor to define your project in detail. You are welcome to make changes or amendments at any time. It is not unusual for customers to want a quote without providing all the details. In this case, we may “fill in the blanks” to expedite the quote with typical data that may affect the cost to a minimal extent. It is your responsibility to review the quote and change any items that may be incorrect prior to actually ordering the project.

We will send photographs of your completed project along with the notice of completion.

If your project is for Customer Pickup, we are good-to-go as soon as final payment arrives.
