With a foundation in custom entryways, we designed the Breeze with several options to allow its appearance to match virtually any decor. With glass in both the upper and lower panels, the Breeze makes a fantastic patio door. The Breeze truly is America’s answer to the Dutch door.
Unlike a traditional Dutch Door where the lower portion remains closed while the upper portion swings open without screening, the Breeze is a patent-pending Dutch door solution with a fold-down upper panel and a retractable screen that opens vertically. You get the appearance and ventilation of a Dutch door without insects or alignment issues that invariably occur with a Dutch door. Entering and exiting is simply one hand on one door knob, regardless of whether the door is in Entry or Screen Mode.
We’ve even created a Craftsman version with a high lock rail. The screen area is smaller, but it still allows plenty of ventilation. We call this version the Light Breeze.
