$5054.71, finished, less antler and feathers.
This double-wide entry (5’0″ x 6’8″) was designed for the customer’s master suite. It has a hidden speakeasy door (for privacy) and a deer antler for a pull. Made of oak with a walnut stain, the hand-hewn texture exemplifies the rustic nature of the Four Corners region before the coming of the Conquistadors, as symbolized by the smooth-finished cross in the center. The pictographs of the sun, moon, and the male warrior are from Chaco Canyon, while the female warrior was created to designate the “battle of the sexes” on this bedroom door.
